Golosá at 50th U of C Folk Fest
On Saturday, February 13, Golosá performed at the 50th annual University of Chicago
Folk Festival before an enthusiastic crowd at the U of C's Ida Noyes Hall.
The concert was a great success, and was crowned by the release of Golosá's second CD,
Until Bright Day.
Visit the
music page to download tracks from the CD, and the
events page

We give thanks to those who came to hear us, and hope that we will see you again soon at another
performance.
olosá is Chicago's premiere Russian folk choir, founded in 1997 at the University
of Chicago. We sing sacred and secular Russian folk songs in a mixed-voice a capella ensemble, and we perform all year long throughout the Chicago area. Auditions are generally held once a year, in September.
The musical director is Tamara Ghattas, and the president is Raisa Priebe.
